It clears a path up to 16 inches wide and 8 inches deep, moves up to 430 pounds of snow per minute and throws snow up to 30 feet under suitable conditions. Adjustable directional vanes help guide snow discharge, while 6-inch rear wheels and an auxiliary handle support movement and positioning. Snow deeper than the housing can be removed using narrower or layered passes. Wet, packed, crusted or icy snow can increase the load on the motor and may reduce clearing and throwing performance. Remove stones, branches and other objects from the clearing area before operation. Use an outdoor-rated extension cord that complies with the gauge and length requirements in the operator’s manual. If thermal protection activates, stop operation and follow the manual’s cooling and restart instructions.
